Dr. Juan Rois is a Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist with an interest in stroke, spasticity management, general rehabilitation of neurologic, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and reconditioning following medical and surgical illnesses.
He undertook his speciality training in Australia and admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. He offers a range of services in inpatient and outpatient settings for general rehabilitation including Ultrasound guided Botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and Cervical dystonia management.
He is a Visiting Medical Officer at St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital where he has worked since the commencement of rehabilitation services in 2015. Dr Rois is also a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand, a Senior Lecturer of the School of Medicine at The University of Queensland, Supervisor for Rehabilitation Medicine Trainees, and Examiner for the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. He is a member of the Rehabilitation Working Party involved with the update of the National Stroke Foundation Clinical Guidelines for Stroke Management.
