Dr Allan Kruger is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with a particular speciality in aortic and mesenteric reconstruction, as well as carotid body tumour surgery. His private practice has been based at Greenslopes Private Hospital since 2005, and he holds a VMO appointment as a Senior Vascular Surgeon at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Kruger graduated from the University of Queensland before completing his advanced vascular surgery training in 2004, having trained in specialist vascular units across both Australia and New Zealand. His training incorporated extensive experience in both open vascular surgery and endovascular treatment of vascular conditions, including aneurysm and occlusive vessel disease.

Dr Kruger maintains a strong interest in medical education at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and currently serves as an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, having previously examined for the Adelaide Vascular Trials.
