Dr Supratik Sen Gupta is a highly experienced General Paediatrician and Neonatologist with over 25 years of practice across Australia and India. He manages a wide range of childhood conditions, with expertise in developmental and psychosocial health, respiratory and neurological disorders, endocrine conditions including diabetes, and neonatal care. His special interests include paediatric palliative care and adolescent and young adult medicine.
He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General Paediatrics and Child Health in 2017. Trained in India, he practised as a paediatrician in Kolkata before moving to Australia in 2006, where he has since worked across major hospitals in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Dr Sen Gupta has broad experience in general paediatrics, neonatal and paediatric intensive care, emergency medicine, and subspecialties including gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, and neurology. He is skilled in neonatology and advanced airway management in both neonates and older children. He is known for his clear, compassionate communication and works closely with families and GPs to ensure well-informed, collaborative care.
